Amazing views of the glacier and valley as you fly to the dog camp. The dogs all looked happy and well cared for. We were encouraged to interact with the dogs, who were all friendly. We got to go on an exhilarating dog sled ride - they go much faster than I expected. We even got to interact with some 3 month old puppies. Definitely do not miss out on this amazing tour!”

“This excursion was absolutely amazing and something I will never forget. The helicopter pilot gave us a smooth ride and landing and great narration throughout. The dog sled camp was much larger than imagined and so great to see all of the dogs well cared for. The dogsled ride was the trip of a lifetime and 2 miles long. Got to hold a 2 month old puppy. Then on to the Herbert Glacier. Our pilot got out and walked with us and gave us a fantastic walking tour. Our helicopter was the only one on the glacier. It was all together the trip of a lifetime and well worth every penny spent. Can't say enough about this fantastic experience!”

“Excellent shore excursion in Juneau. Came in on a cruise ship and it was easy to find the check-in staff in downtown Juneau. Went on a bus driving up a steep mountain and reached the dog sled camp. The driver provided good commentary and answered questions. Dog camp was informative, learning about dog sledding and the Iditarod race, and had a lot of fun riding the sled and interacting with the sled dogs and some younger dogs. Loved holding the blue-eyed puppy at the end for a couple of minutes. The staff was dedicated and seemed passionate about dogs and dog racing. At the end, the bus dropped us off back in downtown Juneau at the specified time. Highly recommended and a highlight of my Alaskan cruise.”

Our guide, who had been there around one year, was very knowledgeable and the information we learned was riveting. Being able to interact with the dogs and the PUPPIES (!) was priceless.
