Although relatively short, a great hike led by a great guide (Kira, I think). We were able to walk up the riverbed to the bottom of the glacier for a fantastic perspective. The group was then allowed to customize our remaining hike based on several suggestions from Kira. Would highly recommend this hike to anyone.

A little pricey considering the brevity of the walk.

This hike was so much more than what we expected! Although our ship was late clearing customs, our guide, Kyle, waited over an hour. We arrived at the meeting point 10 minutes after he left. He would have been perfectly justified in telling us we had missed our opportunity but instead, he came back to get us. Kyle was very knowledgeable about the area and kept an appropriate pace for our small group. We saw whales, otters, ravens and eagles, had a lovely lunch on the shore, skipped rocks and built a temporary stone bridge to ford the rising tide. Kyle dropped us between downtown and the port (at our request) so we could enjoy one final walk in Seward before boarding. I would give Kyle 10 stars if that rating were available!
