The round trip 54-mile tour climbs from tidewater at Skagway past the White Pass Summit to Fraser Meadows. The fully narrated tour passes through two tunnels, over sky-high trestles and cascading waterfalls, all while being pulled by one of our vintage steam locomotives. Relive the glory days of steam trains on this historic trip!

Please note: Passports ARE required for this tour. Please dress in layers as the temperature can change along the train route. This tour is not equipped with a wheelchair lift. All passengers are required to climb five steep steps onto the train car. Child price for ages 2-12.

No, although you will be entering Canada on this tour you will not be permitted to exit the train until it returns to Skagway.

What is the seating arrangement on the train?
Each rail car holds approximately 43 passengers, and you will be assigned your car and seat upon checking in at the White Pass and Yukon Route main office.
Are there any physical requirements for this tour?
Guests must be able to climb the 5 steps onto the train. This tour is not wheelchair accesible.
What type of clothing should I wear?
Layered clothing is recommended, it is possible for slight temperature drops due to elevation however the train cars are heated.

Backpacks, small bags, and purses are allowed on this tour.
