This action-packed and eco-friendly Juneau zipline excursion begins with the excitement of a jet boat ride across the Gastineau Channel. You will cross suspension bridges and zip through the trees on multiple ziplines with a bird's eye view of one of the gold mines that made Juneau famous! You'll even have a chance to traipse through the rainforest on a well-maintained trail network with your guide.
You will be met at the pier by our zipline experts and led to the high-speed jet boat that will take you across the channel to Douglas Island where the group will land on the shores of the Juneau Douglas Treadwell Mine. Don't worry, safety equipment and a safety briefing will give you all the training you need for this epic Alaskan zipline adventure. Your guides are experts at flying through the trees and will lead you every zip of the way.
You'll then load into a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle that can maneuver through the forest while your guide entertains you with history and information on the way to the first platform. This will be the first of many on your journey across nearly 6,000 feet of zip line and suspension bridges. Each zipline will get faster and more fun while offering spectacular views including of the ruins of the Treadwell Mine. Your guides will continue to offer Juneau history and stories along the way, point out creeks and landmarks, and even make you laugh!
For the last platform of the day, make sure to have your smiles ready, as someone will be poised to take your photo and create a lifelong memory of your thrilling adventure! It's not over yet, either - because you'll get the chance to rappel from the final platform down to the zipline camp, where snacks, a gold medal, and photo viewings await you (printed photos are available for an additional fee).
